Broadmeadow

Broadmeadow Racecourse is home of the Newcastle Jockey Club and the social hub of Newcastle.

Racing is held 24 Saturdays a year, along with our Newmarket Race Day in March as part of oru Autumn racing season and our 2 day Spring Racing Carnival in September.

As well, Newcastle Jockey Club conducts a number fo other major race days including: the famous Boxing Day race meeting each December and the Pink Race Day in July to raise funds for the Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation.

We are located in the heart of Newcastle on the picturesque Hunter Coast only two hours drive north of Sydney. In operation for over 100 years, the Broadmeadow Racecourse is the largest provincial club in NSW.
