Chevals Restaurant takes in panoramic views of the home straight and surrounds at beautiful Broadmeadow. Included with your race day booking is your table for the day, race book, plenty of plasma TV monitors, waiter service, tote and bookmaker operators.
On arrival you will be seated by our maitre d’ and treated to the friendly, attentive service from our staff in this our flagship restaurant.

SUMMER MENU
ENTRÉE
- Seared Queen scallops wrapped in prosciutto, served with a duo of roasted red and yellow bell pepper coulis accompanied with a micro herb salad, dressed in macadamia pesto.
- Baked parmesan crusted polenta, filled with an organic bush tomato chutney, garnished with semi dried bush tomatoes and sweet barberries dressed with pistachio oil.
- Smoked Autumn game terrine. Medley of game meats spiked with pistachios, crisp garlic and herb melba toast and a cranberry chutney.
- Northern Indian lamb kofta skewers, accompanied by a salad of wilted baby spinach, mixed wild rice, toasted pine nuts and marinated Persian Fetta.
MAIN
- Marinated fillet of lamb, coated in an organic honey and mustard seed marinade, served with charred asparagus, sweet potato chips and a spiced mango salsa.

Wild barramundi fillet, with a ricotta and sun blushed tomato mousse, served with leek and potato dauphinoise, a medley of ribboned vegetables and scented with white truffle oil.
- Baked artichoke and goats cheese tartan, accompanied by a caramelized fig and walnut ragout, served with tossed baby herb salad.
- Sumac caramelized fillet of pork, coated in a sticky port jus, accompanied by soft and fruity red cabbage compote, served with crisp potato and brie croquette.
DESSERT
- Belgian chocolate mousse, coated in dark chocolate ganache, accompanied by a Malibu and coconut coulis, sprinkled with bitter organic cocoa chips.
- Chocolate coated Champagne poached strawberries, dipped in dark chocolate, white chocolate then a strawberry glaze and finely shaved coconut.
- Raspberry cheesecake, layered with vanilla bean cream served with framboise macaroons and scented with dried rose petals
- Selection of gourmet Australian cheeses served with cheese biscuits, toasted herb breads, nuts, fresh & dried fruits.
